Activ-Step® Bio-Based Footbed: Superior shock absorption properties, resulting in reduced fatigue to the wearer. Made from 73% natural rubber and 100% recycled post-consumer polyester sock liner, certified by the USDA BioPreferred® Programme.
Performance Sole: Featuring our specially formulated high grip Activ-Step® Adherence rubber outsole, tested well beyond European/UK standards. Using the SATRA TM144:2021 test method we have achieved great slip resistance with the following contaminants: Cooking Oil, Fuel Oil, Water, Glycerine and SLS (as used in most cleaning products) and on surfaces such as, Quarry Tiles, Ceramic Tiles, Steel Tiles and Vinyl Tiles. Contains a BLOOM® foam midsole. The bio-based BLOOM® midsole is crafted with BLOOM® algae, which replaces some of the fossil-fuel derived components. BLOOM® foam contains algae, which is harvested to help clean polluted waterways where the algae grow excessively, restoring degraded water habitats and therefore improving biodiversity and ecosystem health. It makes for a cushioned midsole which absorbs impact for all-day comfort, whether you're navigating hard floors or rough outdoor terrain, reducing fatigue to the wearer.
Advanced Protection: A fibreglass protective toecap ensures safety without added weight and the exclusively crafted para-aramid anti-perforation protective midsole developed by Activ-Step® Footwear Components provides essential on-the-job safety, whilst minimising weight.
